On September 26, Adele shared a belated birthday homage for Nicole Richie on Instagram, including photos of the set and an amazing video of Richie frightening the hell out of the “Hey there” vocalist
” Pleased belated birthday to my daily dosage of grace @nicolerichie,” Adele composed in the post’s sincere caption. “I appreciate you and enjoy you a lot. You are the epitome of self preservation, self love and outright savagery! You are so valued by a lot of angel lady! Keep making us laugh babes, we love you to the moon and back.”
In the clip, the House of Harlow 1960 founder is seen crouched down in the kitchen awaiting Adele to stroll in. When she does, Richie screams “Boo!”
Obviously, Adele jumps and screams in fear prior to chuckling and flexing over to hug her buddy. As she leaves, Adele mutters, “For fuck’s sake!”
Along with the humorous video and sweet homage, the singer also shared a collection of pictures with Richie, consisting of a snap of them positioning with a giraffe and a quarantine selfie including Richie behind a window. We enjoy safe queens.

Adele’s Instagram post provided fans an unusual glance of her close relationship with Richie, who is one of the numerous celebrities in her inner circle. Her other A-list confidants consist of Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and obviously, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, whom she supposedly befriended when they moved to Los Angeles.
The vocalist is likewise known for using Instagram to give fans an upgrade on her music as fans patiently( ish) wait for new heartwrenching ballads (it’s been 5 years given that 25 dropped). Back in June, fans were encouraged a throwback picture from 2016 was a tip that her 4th studio album was on its way. However, the vocalist made sure to debunk that report after a fan composed, “Teaser? Albums coming out today???!!!! Inform me now !!!!”
