Will Smith Celebrates 30th Anniversary of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ With Genuine Cast Reunion Pics

Will Smith reunion celebrates 30th anniversary

Now, this is a story all about how our lives got turned right-side-up ever since Will Smith published a set of sincere reunion photos from the 30th anniversary of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which included the original Auntie Viv.

The primary star shared some photos from the initial set of the Banks mansion with his previous co-stars Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks), Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Auntie Viv), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), and DJ Jazzy Jeff(Jazz). Fans were shocked to see his private reunion with Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv for the household sitcom’s very first three seasons prior to being changed by Maxwell Reid after she publicly slammed him and the program for years with claims of mistreatment throughout (and leading up to) her exit.

Both together for what HBO Max referred to as “an emotional reunion and an honest conversation” in a press release.

Smith composed on Instagram yesterday while paying tribute to the late star James Avery. Who passed away in 2013 due to open-heart surgical treatment complications.

HBO Max described the reunion, which is being established by Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s media company Westbrook Media. As “a funny and sincere night filled with music, dancing, and more special surprise visitors”. It will launch specifically on the brand-new streaming platform around Thanksgiving, which also got the initial series. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ran for six seasons on NBC from 1990 to 1996.

Smith and the crew initially got back together in April for an episode of his Snapchat Discover series Will From Home

Additionally, a dramatic reboot titled Bel-Air already got the green light for two seasons on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s brand-new streaming service. The episodes look to deeper into “Will’s complex journey from streets of West Philadelphia to the gated estates of Bel-Air.”

Smith goes back to his throne as the Prince of Bel-Air with the whole Banks clan by his side below.
