Trend-spotter, Entrepreneur, Head Honcho, Influencer — Zhi Ko’s Incredible Resume Just Keeps Growing

At age 31, Zhi Ko is most certainly a Millennial, falling smack dab in the middle of the 24 to 39-year-old age range that comprises over 72 million people in the US.

At age 31, Zhi Ko is most certainly a Millennial, falling smack dab in the middle of the 24 to 39-year-old age range that comprises over 72 million people in the US. And it’s no secret that Millenials sometimes get a bad rap. The younger half of the group is often criticized for being the ‘entitled’ bunch that started the ‘everyone gets a trophy’ trend.

Earning success

But Ko, who began training for the stringent life of competitive tennis at age seven, earned all of his trophies. And staying focused on tennis through a four-year D1 commitment at the University of Miami taught him about discipline, hard work, and how difficult it can be to earn success.

All of Ko’s dedication has now shifted to the world of work. Earning a degree in Architectural engineering, he worked as a Civil Engineer on the West Coast until 2017, when his social media Influencer status began to soar.

Diving into the Influencer pool

Just as cryptocurrency was making its appearance, Ko decided to spend some time educating himself on the subject and then used social media to inform others. This successful dive into the Influencer pool proved Ko had a flair for spotting trends and successfully promoting them on social media. This success also led to co-founding Coindust and serving as CEO. Ko explains Coindust is a micro-investment app that allows people to invest in cryptocurrency from everyday purchases.

That’s five companies

His newfound success also allowed him to launch his first company in 2019, specializing in brand exposure through social media. The success of this company served as the impetus for co-founding NekozTek. At NekozTek, Ko serves as CEO, and he maximizes on his expertise in technology and gaming. As one thing tends to lead to another, he then co-founded Nobel 5, a peripheral gaming company that sells the hottest gaming products. And you guessed it — he serves as CEO. As if that’s not enough, Ko is also co-owner of Radiance, an Esports organization.

Just in case you’re counting, that’s four current successful companies, and he’s only recently completed his third decade. But wait! There’s more! Ko is also co-founder and COO of number five — Luxury Products Delivered, a luxury store that sells high-end collectibles.

TikTok mania and more social media

Running businesses is not even what Zhi Ko is most known for. His career rundown would be sorely deficient without mentioning his incredible TikTok presence. Ko’s draw to TikTok was his ability to foresee the social media platform’s potential as a perfect venue to promote ‘all things’ related to gaming development. Ko has attracted nearly half a million followers and counting in this venue, with over 9.5 million ‘likes’ on his videos.

An authentic Influencer, Ko runs the full social media marathon. His Instagram account is full of photos and videos mostly related to gaming, where he keeps his 10.5K followers apprised of the most up-to-date games, accessories, consoles, and trends in the video gaming industry. Additionally, his Twitter account is usually ‘all business’ where he gives updates on his companies.

The best is yet to come

Trend-spotter, entrepreneur, head honcho, Influencer — that’s quite a resume. Anyone who wants to lump Zhi Ko in the pile of stereotyped Millenials better check their facts. With the impact he’s had in the last year alone, Ko is poised to go the distance — and at only 31, the world has certainly not seen the best of Zhi Ko.
