Thoughts started popping in my head-

“what can I do to leverage this catastrophe?” “what if I start to create a product and be my own boss?”

Don't Limit Yourself

What’s it really like living in the city of the future?

I remember the day I landed in Dubai 7 years ago – one of the most innovative city in the world. I was amazed how everything is wider, larger, bigger, and taller. I call it the gigantic city within the desert. Dubai is such a beautiful city – a huge melting pot and a land filled of opportunities.

But why did I choose to live in Dubai? The answer is simple…I landed my dream job as a flight attendant for one of the best airlines in the world. It has changed my life in so many ways. As I love exploring, meeting new people, and living life outside of a hotel room. I live for the solitude of long train rides, the rush of taking that perfect photo, hearing the stories of the people I meet along the way.

I’ve learned a lot over the past 7 years of flying. I learned about what truly makes me happy in life, I learned how to connect with all different kinds of people all over the world and learning about their culture.

My Dubai journey has taught me to love myself, get to know myself, and live authentically. It made me grow in all areas of my life. I have discovered a part of me I hadn’t known before.

When lockdown started in March and people were getting sick, losing jobs and whatnot, I knew I just couldn’t sit on the fence and live my life drifting and being on auto-pilot.

Thoughts started popping in my head – “what can I do to leverage this catastrophe?” “what if I start to create a product and be my own boss?” “how can I provide value for people?” then all of a sudden I just had this “AHA MOMENT”…

I sat down, started drawing and designing prototypes of what would have been the thing that would turn my life around.

Weeks later, I had completed my very first design, my very first product – Markara Mask. I wanted it to be luxurious, fashionable, and at the same time safe and functional.

– The Journey of Markara Mask : from boring monotones to stylish and designer.

Designer face masks: From face masks with memes and quotes printed on it to those with company logos, people are opting for a variety of products. It wouldn’t be the best face mask in the market without my friend Maria.

We created a unique brand to inspire people during the unfortunate events that brought us in 2020.

I was astonished by the fact from being a flight attendant to an entrepreneur in two months. The transition started innocuously. Late in March, when lockdown started. I decided to make a DIY ( Do It Yourself) mask for my family and friends. Finding material during lockdown proved hard. Finally after lifting the lockdown i ask my friend to start making a mask . It was during summer when the highest heat season in Dubai . The best part of it we had so much fun from creating design in shooting and filming lifestyle people, by inspiring the world that theres always tomorrow.

– I am so grateful for trusted experts for kitchen remodeling of Cape Cod and to have Instagram and facebook that made our journey easier and fun. Helping our friends and helping us to make this stylish face mask happen was the best thing. And mostly protecting our environment.

– It began with people wearing masks as protective gear against pollution that saw a spike in recent times in many parts of the world. Now with the coronavirus pandemic, mask have become a necessity, among many others, shifted their existing resources to non-surgical, reusable mask production .

These masks looked different — made of colored fabric, The Markara Mask came to be available in luxurious stylish designs, as people began to opt for colorful mask to match their outfits.

Its the new now fashion.
