AC/DC Confirm Comeback With Vocalist Brian Johnson & Drummer Phil Rudd: ‘ARE YOU PREPARED?’

After weeks of teasing a return, AC/DC verified on Wednesday (Sept. 30) that they’re officially getting the band back together.

” ARE YOU ALL SET? #PWRUP,” the band tweeted. Exposing its line-up consisting of singer Brian Johnson, drummer Phil Rudd, lead guitar player Angus Young, bassist Cliff Williams and rhythm guitar player Stevie Young.

Johnson quit touring with the veteran rock attire back in 2016 due to hearing loss. (At the time he was changed by Weapons N’ Roses‘ Axl Rose.) Rudd, meanwhile, exited the band’s 2015 Rock or Bust World Tour after being condemned of drug ownership. And threatening to eliminate in a New Zealand murder plot case.

For his part, Williams is cleaning off his bass to come out of retirement after stepping away from AC/DC in 2016, following the previously mentioned world tour Rudd missed due to his legal concerns.

AC/DC’s last studio set, Rock or Bust, was released in Nov. 2014 and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 Previously this summer, Twisted Sis frontman Dee Snider claimed in an interview with ABC News Radio that the rock band’s forthcoming seventeenth album is all finished being taped, however, has actually apparently been delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
